so sayeth the card at the juice press here. Given that I’m interested in my health, and that of my friends, and our tastebuds, here we go with Frose, Round 2
Inside Out Frose
1 tray of frozen pureed fruit* cubes
1/2 bottle very cold Rose
Put them in a mixer and blend until smooth
Drink with friends, responsibly, preferably in the gorgeously sunny days of summer while your hair is stiff from the ocean and your throat is parched from the salt water you inhaled while getting bashed in the waves!
*Really, did you think I’d be able to eat all that ice cream I’ve been making? The fruit cubes here are left over from my summer fruit extravaganza pops. But to fill 2 trays, you need about 3 cups total of pureed fruit. I used 3 1/2 cups chopped fruit (a mix of blueberries, strawberries and one ripe peach, 1/3 cup sugar, and 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice. Mix them in a blender or food processor until smoothish, pour into the trays and freeze. I would cover these with saran once frozen, or even put them in a freezer bag to keep on hand whenever the breeze inspires you.
