The mousse – whip – chocolate dream – easy, reliable, expandable. I thought it might be everything I wanted in my go to pinch. But in round number 2 I failed it and it failed me.

You get the picture. How did I fail? Let me count the ways:
- I tried to make one and a half times the recipe but that would overfill the device so I started out by planning to do 2 canisters sequentially.
- To address #1 above, I planned to chill the mousse for a couple hours before dinner.
- I screwed the lid on improperly, twice. Gas leaked out and the resulting mousse was more milkshake.
- I squirted out the first batch of mousse, it was liquidy so I did the second, it was liquidy. So I pour it back into the canister. Turns out there was enough left on the sides and it was thick liquid. First of the last rounds was perfect. But needed to be served ASAP. The second batch of the last round was like cold crisco and it stayed that way.

Suffice it to say, there will be a round 3 when I get back home tomorrow. It may not be the Davinci Code, but it is the chololate code…
